Sunghee Choi (ÃÖ ¼ºÈñ)
Assistant Professor, Computer Science Division, EECS, KAIST
Welcome to my home page! I am a professor of Computer Science Division at KAIST. My main research area is computational geometry which studies algorithms and complexity of geometric problems. I am also interested in computer graphics, geometric modeling, computational biology, computational topology, and visualization.
While I was a graduate student at the University of Texas at Austin, I studied surface reconstruction problem with my advisor Nina Amenta and colleague Ravi Kolluri. Here is some information of one of our surface reconstruction algorithms called power crust. Other research topics include Delaunay triangulation (with its dual Voronoi diagram), medial axis, representations of shapes, in general.
Here is my resume with the links to my publication.
Here is my research group homepage - Geometric Computing Lab which is a part of
the Theory of Computation (TC) Lab.
